Websites/apps useful for travelling

Wondering what could be the websites useful for your next travel? I’ve many that I rely upon. This guide describes my favorite ones.

Turbli is one of my favorite. Have you ever experienced turbulences on your flights? I promise this won’t change the probability, but at least you’ll know before when to expect those and how strong will they be. Just insert the departure and destination airport, as well as the day of your flight. Click on the right flight code. This website give then a description of all the hours of your flight, including when to expect any kind of turboleces.

You’ll know in advance any upcoming turbulence

Wondering whether this is the right moment to reach your next destination? Quandoandare has a comprehensive description of all world destinations, categorized into three categories (best moment, so-so and worst moment) according to the period of the year, so you’ll make sure you’re not travelling in the worst moment possible and complain all travel long

When to go?

Edreams prime has been quite useful in the last year, the yearly fee is about 50EUR but as long as you travel frequently you’ll be able to save quite a good amount of money, I was able to find usually a 15% discount for every travel I bought.

Tricount is a great app when travelling in groups. I think I’ve used it in any travel with my friends, and it simplifies everything a lot.

Citymapper: I actually use it on a daily basis in Luxembourg, but the fact that it automatically identifies the city where you are in makes it easier to move around public transport in any given city supported by the app.
