About

Hey there, somehow you landed in this blog and you may wonder who’s this guy who randomly talks about travels. My name is Luca, 25 years old Italian guy living in Luxembourg, that tiny rich country in the middle of Europe you’ve heard about.

People have always asked me: why you travel so much?

REASON 1: the connections that I make along the way. Whether it’s meeting new people in the places that I visit, or strengthening relationships with the people I travel with, there’s something special about the bonds that we form on the road. It’s amazing how quickly you can become friends with someone when you’re both exploring a new place and experiencing new things together. These connections often last far beyond the trip itself, and they can lead to some truly incredible experiences down the line.

REASON 2: it helps me become a better person. When you’re immersed in a different culture, you start to see the world in a new light. You learn to appreciate the differences between people, and you become more empathetic and understanding as a result. It’s also an opportunity to challenge your own beliefs and prejudices, and to open your mind to new perspectives. All of these experiences help me grow as a person, and I always come back from my travels feeling more aware and more connected to the world around me.

REASON 3: I like to think of travel as an investment in myself. Sure, it can be expensive to go on trips, but I believe that the experiences and memories that I gain from those trips are worth far more than the money I spend. Just like investing in stocks or real estate, travel can have long-lasting benefits that pay off in the years to come. It can help me broaden my perspective both personally and professionally. When I travel, I have the opportunity to build connections with people from all over the world, and these connections can pay off in unexpected ways down the line. Whether it’s meeting business partners on a trip, or simply making new friends who can offer me unique perspectives and insights, travel is a great way to expand and build meaningful relationships. And unlike other forms of networking, which can feel forced or inauthentic, the connections that I make while traveling often feel more organic and genuine. So while travel can certainly be expensive, I believe that the benefits of building a global network are well worth the investment. And unlike many other forms of investment, travel is something that I can enjoy in the present moment, rather than waiting for some future payoff.

Just to clarify, this website isn’t really a travel blog. While I’m always on the move, I enjoy spending my time in flights writing stories about my adventures. The main purpose of this site is to share my experiences with my friends, so please excuse me if my articles come across as more of a stream of consciousness than a structured travel blog. But that’s intentional – I want to share my adventures in an authentic and personal way, rather than trying to conform to a specific format or style. So if you’re looking for polished and professional travel writing, you might want to look elsewhere. However, if you’re interested in hearing about my travels as they happen, then you’re in the right place.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy following my journey
